Moderneiddio Asesu / Modernising Assessment

Mae Cymwysterau Cymru bob amser wedi ceisio gwneud y defnydd gorau o'r technolegau digidol sydd ar gael i ddysgwyr a chanolfannau yng Nghymru, wrth ddatblygu cymwysterau newydd. Mae hyn wedi cynnwys defnyddio technoleg i gasglu tystiolaeth sy'n digwydd yn naturiol o gynnydd prentisiaid yn y gweithle i arholiadau ar y sgrin yn gyffredinol.

Rydyn ni wedi sefydlu tîm moderneiddio asesu i sicrhau bod dysgwyr yn parhau i elwa o arloesi digidol yn y system gymwysterau. Mae’r tîm yn gweithio gyda rhanddeiliaid i archwilio’r manteision y gall technolegau digidol eu cynnig. Mae'r tîm yn defnyddio ei ganfyddiadau i ddylanwadu ar newid cadarnhaol a chefnogi datblygiad polisi cymwysterau. Mae ein dull gweithredu yn canolbwyntio ar dechnolegau a all fod o fudd i hydrinedd, gafaelgarwch, dibynadwyedd a dilysrwydd asesiadau, neu gyfuniad o'r egwyddorion hyn.

Qualifications Wales has always sought to make best use of the digital technologies available to learners and centres in Wales, when developing new qualifications. This has included using technology to capture naturally occurring evidence of apprentices’ progress in the workplace to on-screen examinations in general.

We have established a modernising assessment team to ensure that learners continue to benefit from digital innovation in the qualification system. The team works with stakeholders to explore the benefits that digital technologies can offer. The team uses its findings to influence positive change and support the development of qualifications policy. Our approach focuses on technologies that can benefit the manageability, engagement, reliability and validity of assessments, or a combination of these principles.

Goruchwylio o bell / Remote invigilation

Rydyn ni eisiau clywed gan ddysgwyr sydd wedi sefyll asesiad oedd wedi’i oruchwylio o bell.  

Mae asesiad wedi'i oruchwylio o bell yn un a gafodd ei fonitro gan rywun mewn lleoliad gwahanol gyda gwe-gamera, neu offer fideo arall, wrth i chi sefyll eich asesiad. Efallai eich bod chi wedi sefyll yr asesiad hwn gartref, yn y gwaith, yn y coleg, neu yn rhywle arall. 

Bydden ni’n hoffi clywed am eich profiad o sefyll yr asesiad yma. Yn eich ymateb, gallwch ddweud wrthym am y pethau canlynol: 

  • pa mor gyfforddus a hyderus oeddech chi'n teimlo wrth sefyll asesiad fel hyn 

  • beth, yn eich barn chi, yw manteision sefyll asesiadau fel hyn 

  • a fyddai wedi bod modd gwella’r profiad o sefyll yr asesiad, ac os felly, sut  


We want to hear from learners who have taken a remotely invigilated assessment.  

A remotely invigilated assessment is one that was monitored by someone in a different location with a webcam, or other video equipment, whilst you took your assessment. You may have taken this assessment at home, in work, in college, or somewhere else. 

We would like to know about your experience of taking this assessment. In your response, you can tell us about: 

  • how comfortable and confident you felt taking an assessment in this way 

  • what you think are the benefits taking assessments in this way 

  • if the experience of taking the assessment could have been improved, and if so, how
