  • The government website has listed this tender as a £40,000 contract excluding VAT. https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/020745-2026?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2026-03-10&utm_source=SavedSearch However the instructions document indicates the contract terms are of two meetings per year plus ad-hoc advice on papers or proposals between meetings at £400 per day, this would mean a minimum of £800 per year. Can you clarify what the actual value of the contract is?

Femma Ashraf asked 4 days ago

Thank you for your interest. This is how the total Contract value is calculated:

We require up to 8 members of the Research Advisory Group to undertake a minimum of 2 days a year, plus preparation time, (potentially an additional ½ day each meeting).

    Therefore:  8 members  x 3 days @ £400  = £9,600 per year.

    Four-year contract period =£38,400
