Request to add a sport or physical activity to the approved list for GCSE Physical Education and Health

Before completing this form to request that a sport or physical activity is added to the approved list for GCSE Physical Education and Health, please read the guidance for applicants.  

Applications submitted before the end of December 2026 will be considered in Spring 2027. If the application is successful, the sport or physical activity will be added to the approved list for learners commencing their programme of study (typically entering Year 10) in September 2027. 

The application form will remain open after this date, but applications will not be considered until the following year.
