Consultation on the design requirements for a new AS and A level in Cymraeg and AS and A level in Core Cymraeg

We encourage respondents to contribute their views to all of the questions in this consultation, including those in the integrated impact assessment. It is important that our proposals realise the positive impacts we wish to see and minimise any potential negative impacts as much as possible.  

Following this consultation, we will analyse and consider all responses received. We will publish a decisions report and a summary of the responses. 

Alongside our decisions report, we will publish finalised approval criteria for AS and A levels in Cymraeg and Core Cymraeg. These documents will be published in autumn 2025.
