Sut fydd cymwysterau dyfarniad dwyradd yn cael eu graddio? / How will double award qualifications be graded?
Ar gyfer TGAU dyfarniad dwyradd, bydd dysgwyr yn derbyn dwy radd ar eu tystysgrif i ddangos maint y cymhwyster.
Rydyn ni wedi penderfynu y bydd graddio dyfarniad dwyradd ar raddfa 8 pwynt. Mae hyn yn golygu y bydd dysgwyr yn derbyn yr un radd ddwywaith ar eu tystysgrif, gyda graddau'n amrywio rhwng A*A*, AA, BB, CC, DD, EE, FF, GG.
Mae'r dull hwn o raddio dyfarniad dwyradd yn syml ac yn hawdd i randdeiliaid ei ddeall a'i ddehongli. Mae'n debyg i'r raddfa 8 pwynt a gaiff ei defnyddio i raddio TGAU dyfarniad unigol.
Rydyn ni’n parhau i ymgysylltu â rhanddeiliaid AB ac AU i sicrhau eu bod yn deall y cymwysterau TGAU dwbl newydd ac yn dod i gasgliadau teg am gyflawniadau dysgwyr yng Nghymru.
For double award GCSEs, learners will receive two grades on their certificate to show the size of the qualification.
We’ve decided that double award grading will be on an 8-point scale. This means that learners will receive the same grade twice on their certificate, with grades ranging between A*A*, AA, BB, CC, DD, EE, FF, GG.
This approach to grading double awards is simple and easy for stakeholders to understand and interpret. It is similar to the 8-point scale that will be used to grade single-award GCSEs.
We continue to engage with FE and HE stakeholders to ensure they understand the new double award GCSEs and draw fair conclusions about the achievements of learners in Wales.
