We are undertaking a review of Essential Skills Wales qualifications.
The aim of the review is to gather evidence from our key stakeholders and receive feedback on how fit for purpose the Essential Skills Wales qualifications are. The aim is also to identify any issues or suggestions arising from the feedback and evidence, and to consider what changes or reforms may be required to ensure Essential Skills Wales qualifications continue to meet the needs of learners, learning providers and other relevant stakeholders.

Learners – those who are completing or who have completed an Essential Skills Wales qualification within the past two years
Employers, including those who manage apprentices and trainees that are completing or have completed an Essential Skills Wales qualification
Other interested parties such as professional bodies, awarding bodies and parents/guardians
