Qualifications Wales is developing a long-term Regulatory Strategy for 2027 to 2035. The strategy sets out how we intend to regulate qualifications and awarding bodies in Wales over this period, providing a clear framework for our regulatory work as the qualifications landscape continues to evolve.
Our proposed vision is for a high-quality qualifications system in Wales that is trusted, fair, agile and inclusive. The strategy explains how we will work towards this through four proposed regulatory priorities: Assurance, Prevention, Innovation and Inclusion.
We are seeking views on whether the proposed vision, priorities and actions are appropriate, whether the strategy is clear and useful for different audiences, and whether there are any regulatory, equalities, Welsh language or other impacts that we should consider before finalising the strategy.
For more detail, please read the consultation documents available on this page before responding to the consultation questions.
