I will start teaching the skills to my year 7 learners in 2027 and I will enter the learners, likely to be high achieving learners, who have mastered some (or all the skills) for qualification units either at the end of year 7 or in year 8. This will help build their confidence. I believe that once the more able and talented learners are in year 10 they will be concentrating on taking a full range of double award and other single award GCSE qualifications.
